It was fairly easy to assemble, however the pre-assembly was poor. The crank arms and pully screw were lose. After one day of use the there was a loud clicking noise from crank shaft area as i pedaled. I decided to take the belt cover off to check the belt tension. It turned out the belt was way too tight. So tight that the crank shaft bearing were somewhat grinding to produce the noise. Very similar to a regular bike if the chain is too tight. I was able to adjust\reduce the belt tension by the adjustments on front wheel. I read other users had issue with the seat moving. I did as well. I had to tighten the seat screw incredibly tight with a real wrench (not the one it came with) to keep it from moving around. The instructions do say you should go over all the screws but the belt issue causing bearing grinding should not have happened. Most people would not have be able to fix it. Over all it is good for the price but don't buy it if your not handy with mechanical equipment or tools.Assembly was easy but repairing it was not.
