This worked well for storing my insulin pump when I wear a dress. I have another similar product that caused more form-fitting dresses to catch on it, but this stayed smooth regardless of dress type. Have no issues keeping it where it belongs. Would recommend.I hate lugging a purse around, especially if you have a wedding or big event to go to. I listened to reviews and ordered the smallest size and it fit just right. It fits my cellphone, wallet, and a lipstick perfectly! I'd only really recommend it under a loose or flowy skirt, as it will stick out a bit once you've filled it up.Now I would like to put it out there that according to the sizing, a large would have fit perfectly around my thigh. But based off of other reviews I wanted it to be a tight fit to ensure that once I put my phone in it that it wouldn’t end up around my ankle. I went with the smallest size there was and it did look small but it stretches so much that once I put it on I knew I would have problems.I still wanted to give it a try and I was excited to try it because it looked so pretty and the pocket was sturdier than other lace ones. So I put it on and used it for the one thing I wanted it for, to put my phone in it. I took two steps and I felt it slipping already. It’s a wonder how people could even dance with it and have it stay in place with any weight in it.I eventually pulled it up so that it was one inch away from my crotch to feel secure enough that it would not fall down. That’s nice and all, but realizing you have to adjust this when you are already in a public space is not nearly as pleasant.I am bummed that it didn’t work out despite my effort to go with the smallest size so I wouldn’t have to worry about it falling down. The design is lovely and if the function worked then it would have been the best of both worlds. Unfortunately it just kept falling and it would be more of a hassle than it’s worth to try to get it to work.This product is exactly what I’ve been needing to wear with dresses while wearing and insulin pump. It kept it snug against my leg comfortably & couldn’t see it under my dress. Highly recommend it.UPDATE: I will be returning the garter, as the rolling at the top really kept it from staying up. I really *really* wish this garter tapered and had silicon grips on the bottom because I really do love it in every other regard, but it's just not strong or durable enough for my needs. It's probably fine for people who only want it for going out to dinner, and not going dancing or for a long walk in the city.That said, their customer service is great. I submitted a return request and I received an email from the seller in less than 24 hours, with a mailing label and the promise of a full refund once they received the product. So, if you're unsure about this purchase and looking to try, I'd say it's definitely worth a shot.------Original review:So far, I'd call this garter "pretty good"...there isn't a huge market for them, and I've heard a lot of complaints about poor stitching or the garter slipping down. This one does pretty well in that regard-- the silicon on the inside definitely keeps it from slipping, but it's only on the top of the garter, leaving the bottom a little loose.I'm a size 4-6, and my thighs average about 20" in the middle of where the garter sits...however, my legs also taper, and the garter is straight, meaning it doesn't fit as well at the bottom as the top. On my shape of thigh, it also rolls down a bit at the top (anyone who experiences rolling from boy shorts will understand this). And of course if it rolls on the top, and the silicon is only on the top...slightly increases chance of slippage. For reference, I ordered a small and it fits quite well with my iphone (5s), and I have a large-ish leather case that holds a few credit cards. What I am worried about is the lace-- nice and stretchy and comfortable, but feels like it might tear or get over-stretched with heavy usage. Overall for the quality, I think the price is a bit steep, especially if it doesn't last. But that said, I also think it's probably the best on the market right now.A quick note on how it's pictured...if you've got thighs that aren't 100% toned muscle, it's going to squeeze and not look as flattering as in the image, and the pocket definitely isn't as discrete as it appears in the advertised image. BUT, for those complaining that it's only invisible under a full skirt, you can just turn the garter so the phone sits on the inside of your leg-- as long as you're not packing a brick of a phone, it's still relatively comfortable. For a size comparison, the pocket is about the length of the iphone 5s.The attached images show how it looks under a short gathered skirt, and should give you an idea of the size of my phone with case.There's are definitely not for thick thighs... They will roll and get scrunched up... But part of it was I probably have large thighs when I ordered a mediumItem returned. The giant pocket is the only flaw but stops it from being wearable.The top of the pocket is visible under clothes and if turned to face the inner leg catches the other thigh.Bought for use with insulin pump. It’s great to finally see products like this on the market but a simple lace pocket would have sufficed. Otherwise pretty lace and did not slip down.Bought to hold my insulin pump in and does the job perfectly. Wore it with my iPhone XR and a CGM receiver. Jumped around and up and down for a few minutes after I put it on and it didn't budge. The only concern I had was that I accidentally poked a hole in it the first time I put it on. The lace is delicate. I'd love to see one made out of spandex, like the ones Stashbandz makes for the waist belt, but only for the thigh (with the silicone grips).Thanks for a great, comfortable product.
